6th & 7th grade students: I will set up some daily challenges to help stimulate those design problem brain cells that I have been nurturing in Q3. The tasks will involve you using knowledge already learned and applying it to every day situations. They are not mandatory or graded and just meant to stimulate those engineering brains.

8th grade students: Here is a link to a RobotC quiz. Copy and paste it into your browser. The quiz is not mandatory or graded but it will allow you to review the coding we completed prior to leaving school on March 13th. If you do not remember the answer please problem solve (check internet for an answer, etc.) If you have any questions please email me.

This is an unusual situation for everyone, and I put together a few notes to reassure you all regarding your Technology Education grades and projects as well as a few suggestions for some fun activities once you get bored of playing Minecraft all day!  If you have any questions please email me at
vaughatg@pwcs.edu and I will respond as quickly as I can.

6th grade: Periods 6 & 7

We were 2 weeks from completing our gum ball dispenser project in the workshop.  All students were graded on the practical work that they completed in class. Unfortunately we will be unable to return to the building for this current school year so on my return to the building, I will box up the projects and set up a schedule in the Fall (after school) for those that wish to complete their project.

7th grade: Periods 4 & 5

We were 2 weeks from completing our secret money box project in the workshop.  All students were graded on the practical work that they completed in class. Unfortunately we will be unable to return to the building for this current school year so on my return to the building, I will box up the projects and set up a schedule in the Fall (after school) for those that wish to complete their project.

8th grade: Period 3

We just started the toll both construction using the Vex robotics parts prior to our extended absence from school.  Seeing as our 8th grade course is a semester long course, when we return to school, we will just continue with the construction of the project including the programming to ensure that the toll booth functions as it should.

Period 2 class:

Please continue to use the skills that you have learned in Tech Ed to construct projects at home. Use Lego bricks if you have them (cardboard or paper works fine also). If you have any pictures of projects that you build at home, please email them to me at my address above.
